I feel so bad for David Hernandez getting eliminated at the first elimination round of The American Idol last thursday night. There is no doubt that he was one of the best singers but unfortunately, he was kicked out off the competition because, according to the show’s management, it is due to poor number of votes. It could be true. Weeks after the top 12 was announced, news surfaced that David Hernandez once worked as a stripper and this could be the reason why some of the voters felt that he wasnt worthy to be called an Idol. I am so sure that he has a valid reason why he did that in the past and nobody has the right to judge him. I wonder if this people ever thought of giving him a chance to prove himself and just leave the past behind. Some says, CBS would rather see David go than to deal with another scandal. I guess it all boils down to the issue of morality. David has an impeccable talent in singing and he deserves to stay in American Idol more than anybody in that contest. Shame on you Idol voters!
I am proud to see a fellow Filipino in American Idol. Ramiele Malubay can really sing but she has to step up and show her talent in the best possible way. I was disappointed that she wasn’t giving her best in her performances. If she continue to be safe and boring in her singing, I wouldn’t be surprised if she will be the next to leave.
